Restaurant Raj, located in the Old Town of the baroque city, offers domestic cuisine specialities in the cosy and original cellar interior (80 seats) and at the courtyard terrace (70 seats). The special thing about the terrace, what makes it more interesting, is special herb “glicinija” for which is estimated to be 150 years old.

Working hours of the restaurant are from 8-22 (if needed, longer). The quality and full gastronomic atmosphere is emphasised with joyful music of the tambura-players band.

In the restaurant Raj it is possible to organise diverse types of fancy dinners and spontaneous dinners, depending on your needs, wishes and possibilities. Here, you can spend your holidays like St. Valentine’s Day, St. Martin’s day and others, enjoying in good atmosphere, food and drinks.

The Raj Restaurant is cherishing the tradition of preparing the authentic food of the region: chicken liver coated with bacon, frost meet (pork), black pudding sausage, roast smoke-dried kneepad, home made roast duck, region authentic braise cabbage, and various types of home made sweets.

The offer is supplemented with famous Varazdin “klipici” and “cvarak” pie. There is a possibility to order larger quantity of these famous Varazdin buns.
