Varaždin – Zelendvor – Vinica

At the agreed time, we continue our journey towards the village of Zelendvor, which once housed the castle of the Bombelles family, and today is the largest breeding ground for pheasants and feathered game in Croatia. Numerous statesmen from the Habsburgs to Josip Broz Tito passed through the Zelendvor hunting grounds, which is also a beautiful story that connects the “Tourist” hotel with Zelendvor. Today, Zelendvor is visited by hunters from all over Europe. We continue our journey to Vinica, Arboretum Opeka… one of the richest arboretums in Croatia. On an area of 64 hectares, garden art played with a park modeled on English gardens, a forest park. The specialty of the garden is more than a thousand planted trees and shrubs that came from different countries of the world: Tibet, China, Japan, the Caucasus, North America.
